Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination for the highest intelligence post in the country has sparked controversy due to her past support for national security leakers and Russian-backed narratives. If confirmed as director of national intelligence (DNI), Gabbard would oversee information from all 18 intelligence agencies and play a crucial role in advising President Trump on national security decisions. However, her nomination has raised concerns among national security experts, who question her controversial comments and lack of high-level national security experience. Despite some support for her nomination, many are skeptical of her qualifications and ability to lead such a complex and sensitive operation.
