Rory McIlroy se centra en el Campeonato BMW PGA después de casi acertar en su tierra natal en el Abierto de Irlanda Amgen | Noticias de golf.

It’s another one that got away. It’s another second place. That’s been the theme of my year. I need to figure out how to turn these seconds and thirds into wins.

The 32-year-old has endured a frustrating season so far, with four runner-up finishes and a third-place result in his last five starts, but he remains confident of turning his form around at Wentworth this week.

The BMW PGA Championship is one of the biggest events we play on the European Tour, McIlroy added. It’s a course I’ve had success on in the past. I’ve won there before, so hopefully I can go back and replicate that form this week.

McIlroy will be looking to lift the trophy for the third time in his career at Wentworth, having previously tasted success in 2014 and 2019 at the prestigious event.

McIlroy’s ability to stay positive and learn from his mistakes is a testament to his resilience and determination. Despite the disappointment of another near miss, he remains focused on improving and striving for victory in the future. With the support of his fans and his own dedication, it’s only a matter of time before he breaks through and adds more wins to his impressive resume.
