I think they need to attack the January transfer window and bring someone in. I think they need a midfielder who can control the game, who can slow it down when they need to, speed it up when they need to, and just give them a little bit more control and composure in that midfield area.
City have got great players, but that midfield area is just not functioning right now.
They need to start looking at bringing in younger players with pace and energy to inject some life into the midfield. It’s a tough situation to be in, but they need to address it sooner rather than later if they want to compete at the highest level.
