Man Utd: Ruben Amorim habla en profundidad sobre su trabajo en Old Trafford, un nuevo estadio, Sir Jim Ratcliffe y su propia ‘prisa’ por ganar | Noticias de fútbol

You have to think about the future and you have to think about the present. So, I am just focused on winning games and improving the team every day.

It’s clear that Ruben Amorim’s honesty and determination have resonated with the Manchester United hierarchy, as they continue to support him through the ups and downs of his tenure. With plans for a new stadium on the horizon, the future looks bright for both the club and their head coach. Only time will tell if Amorim can lead United to success and be at the helm for the opening of their new home.

That’s a big part of this club, isn’t it? The exposure, the pressure, the expectation. How do you handle that pressure and keep focused on the task at hand?

It’s part of the job. It’s part of the job. It’s a big club, a big responsibility, and I think the exposure and the pressure is also good. It makes you better. It makes you work harder. It makes you push yourself to the limit. And I like that. I like that challenge. I like that pressure. So it’s part of the job, and I’m ready for it.

And just finally, in terms of the team, what do you think needs to change for the results to start coming your way?

We need to be more consistent, more focused, more disciplined. We need to work harder, play better. We need to believe in ourselves and in our abilities. We need to stick together as a team and fight for each other. We need to improve in every aspect of the game. And I believe we can do it. I believe in this team, in this club, and in our ability to turn things around. We just need to keep working hard and stay positive. And I’m confident we will get there.

It sounds like you have a clear vision of what you want for the team and how you want them to play. Despite the challenges and criticism, you are staying true to that vision. That’s admirable. How do you keep the team motivated and focused during these tough times?

I think the most important thing is to be honest with them. I tell them the truth, I tell them what I want, what they need to improve, what they are doing well. And I think they appreciate that honesty. I also try to keep a positive attitude and show them that we are working towards something bigger. It’s about building a strong team culture and mentality, and that takes time. But I believe in this group of players and I know we can turn things around with hard work and determination.
