It seems that Oleksandr Usyk’s reign as the undisputed world heavyweight champion is facing challenges from various contenders. With Daniel Dubois now holding the IBF belt and Joseph Parker eyeing a shot at the WBO title, Usyk’s grip on the heavyweight division may be slipping.
Additionally, Mahmoud Charr and Michael Hunter also hold titles in the WBA organization, adding further competition to the mix. However, the WBC has confirmed that Usyk will retain his title and defend it in a rematch with Tyson Fury in December.
It remains to be seen if Usyk can maintain his status as the undisputed champion amidst these mounting challenges from other top contenders in the heavyweight division.
