I feel like I’m fighting for everyone that has helped me along the way and for every person that has supported me. It’s an amazing feeling to have that support behind me. I’m really excited to represent GB and hopefully bring home a medal. It’s something I’ve been working towards for a long time and I’m ready to give it my all in Paris.”
But that experience has only fueled her determination to succeed in Paris. I don’t want that feeling again. I want to come away with a medal. I know what it feels like to not come away with a medal and it’s not a nice feeling at all, Davison said.
With her newfound mental strength and unwavering determination, Davison is ready to take on the world’s best in Paris and make her mark on the Olympic stage.
I’ve put in the work, I’ve prepared myself mentally and physically, and I’m ready to make a statement in Paris. I may be new to the GB squad, but I am determined to show what I am capable of. I know the competition will be tough, but I am confident in my abilities and I am not afraid to face any challenge that comes my way.
Whether it’s my heavy hands or my all-action approach, I am ready to leave it all in the ring and give it my all. I may be under the radar now, but I believe that I have what it takes to come out on top and bring home a medal. Watch out, because when the time is right, I will show everyone what I bring to the table.
