Laugher and Harding, who had to settle for a disappointing fourth place in the synchronised 3m springboard in Tokyo, scored 421.83 points in the men’s 3m synchro to finish behind China (467.67) and Russia (421.83).
It was a second Olympic medal for Laugher, who won gold in the same event alongside Chris Mears in Rio 2016, while Harding was competing at his first Games.
GB have now won eight golds, 10 silvers and 11 bronzes in Paris, sitting sixth in the medal table.
