There’s no rush for me to go back to the NRL. I’m loving my time at Wigan and we have a great group of players and staff here. We have been successful and I want to continue to be a part of that success.
Field’s form has seen him linked with a return to Australia, but the 24-year-old insists he is focused on the job at hand with Wigan.
My main focus is on helping Wigan win more trophies, he said. I’m not thinking about anything else at the moment.
Field’s commitment to Wigan has been praised by head coach Adrian Lam, who believes the young full-back has a bright future ahead of him.
Jai has been outstanding for us since he arrived, Lam said. He has shown great dedication and commitment to the team and I have no doubt he will continue to be a key player for us in the years to come.
With Wigan currently sitting pretty at the top of the Super League table, Field will be hoping to add more silverware to his collection in the coming seasons.
