Entrevista exclusiva con Chris Wilder: El manager del Sheffield United habla sobre los componentes ‘simplistas’ detrás del sólido récord defensivo de los Blades | Noticias de Fútbol

But for us, it was about getting that mentality into the group and resetting that mentality. It’s been good, and the players deserve a huge amount of credit for that.

It helps to have a goalkeeper in Michael Cooper who has kept 15 clean sheets in 28 games, of course. A backline that has played in every game together and a unit that has been relatively settled throughout the season.

It’s not just the defenders, though. The midfielders and forwards have worked tirelessly to protect the backline and contribute to the defensive solidity.

It’s a team effort, and one that has put Sheffield United in a strong position for promotion back to the Premier League.

As the conversation with Wilder draws to a close, the pain of last season’s relegation is fading into the background. The focus is now on the present and the future, and the possibility of a successful return to the top flight.

It’s about having that hunger and desire to improve and be the best that you can be. That’s what drives us forward and pushes us to keep striving for success.

And when you see the players out there on the pitch giving their all, fighting for every ball and working together as a cohesive unit, it’s a testament to the hard work and dedication they put in day in and day out.

So as long as we continue to have that attitude and that hunger for success, I believe we can achieve great things together as a team.
