It’s a professional sport and when you have people like Jake Paul fighting Mike Tyson, it becomes more of a circus act. That’s not what boxing is supposed to be.
Paul has previously fought fellow Youtuber AnEsonGib, former NBA player Nate Robinson and MMA fighter Ben Askren.
He is now reportedly set to fight former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in his next bout.
Riley said: The more we entertain it, the more it becomes a thing. But if we just ignore it, it will go away.
Paul has also called out UFC president Dana White to make a fight happen with Conor McGregor.
If that’s the case, then he’s going to do it, and it’s going to be a joke, Riley said. But if we don’t entertain it, then it won’t happen.
