Carlos Alcaraz sorprendido por Holger Rune en la final del Abierto de Barcelona mientras Alexander Zverev gana en Munich | Noticias de Tenis

It was a great week for me. I played great tennis, especially after the first set against [Yannick] Hanfmann and also [Dan] Evans. I’m happy with how I played. It’s great to win this tournament again.

Zverev, who turned 28 on Sunday, continued his impressive form to dispatch Shelton in just under an hour and a half, hitting 24 winners to his opponent’s 11 and converting four of his six break points.

Shelton, who was bidding for his first ATP title, struggled to match Zverev’s level throughout the match, committing 24 unforced errors to the German’s 10.

It was a great week, a lot of tough matches and tough opponents, said Shelton. Sascha played a great match today. I tried to give everything I have, but it wasn’t enough. I’m happy with my week and hope to continue this form into the rest of the season.

Upcoming Tournaments

Both Rune and Zverev will now turn their attention to upcoming tournaments on the ATP Tour as they look to continue their good form. Rune will be looking to build on his Barcelona Open success, while Zverev will be looking to carry his momentum into the upcoming clay-court events.

It will be interesting to see how both players perform in their next tournaments and whether they can maintain their winning ways. Tennis fans will be eagerly anticipating their next matches as they continue to showcase their talent on the ATP Tour.

It’s going to be an exciting final between Ostapenko and Sabalenka! Both players are in great form and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. Stay tuned for more updates on the Stuttgart Grand Prix final! 🎾🏆 #Tennis #StuttgartGrandPrix #FinalBound
