Siete álbumes inéditos grabados por Bruce Springsteen entre 1983 y 2018 serán recopilados en Massive Tracks II: The Lost Albums, un nuevo box set anunciado hoy. Eso son 83 canciones de Springsteen nunca antes escuchadas. La nueva canción ‘Rain in the River’ es tomada de Perfect World, el último de los álbumes incluidos en el set de 9 discos de vinilo/7 CD. Un punto destacado del proyecto es LA Garage Sessions ’83, una grabación lo-fi que sirve como puente entre Nebraska y Born in the USA. También se incluyen Faithless, la banda sonora de una película que nunca se hizo, un álbum country llamado Somewhere North of Nashville, el experimento orquestal noir Twilight Hours. Inyo se describe como un conjunto de “ricos cuentos fronterizos”, mientras que Perfect World es “lo único en esto que no fue concebido inicialmente como un álbum”, según Springsteen.
