Despite Wrexham’s best efforts to find an equaliser, it was Birmingham who sealed the victory with a third goal from Willum Willumsson, who latched onto a through ball from David Brooks and coolly finished past the goalkeeper.
The win sees Birmingham move up to second in the League One table, just behind leaders Ipswich Town, while Wrexham drop down to fourth.
