As for my role as tournament director for the return of women’s tennis to Queen’s, it’s been a busy few weeks. We’ve been finalizing the player field, which is looking really strong, and we’ve got some fantastic names confirmed to play. It’s going to be a great event and it’s really exciting to see women’s tennis back at such a historic venue.
Overall, I’m looking forward to the ‘sunshine double’ and seeing how Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic continue to work together. It’s always interesting to see how coaching partnerships evolve and I’m sure they will have a successful run at Indian Wells and Miami. And of course, I can’t wait for the return of women’s tennis to Queen’s – it’s going to be a fantastic event!
It’s always exciting to see young players making a name for themselves on the tour and challenging the established players. Fonseca and Andreeva both have bright futures ahead of them, and it will be interesting to see how they continue to develop and grow in the coming months and years. The future of tennis is in good hands with these talented young players.
