I just want to keep winning and putting myself in positions to win tournaments, because that’s what I love to do. If I keep doing that, I feel like the more chances I give myself to win majors. So, I don’t have a specific number in mind, but I just want to keep playing well and competing at the highest level.
McIlroy will tee off alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Collin Morikawa in the opening two rounds at Pinehurst, with the trio scheduled to begin their campaign from the 10th tee at 1.36pm BST on Thursday.
