Brighton 1 – 2 Chelsea

In the second half, Chelsea doubled their lead through Christopher Nkunku, who fired home from close range after a scramble in the box. Brighton pushed for a comeback, hitting the post and eventually pulling one back through Danny Welbeck in injury time.

Despite Reece James’ late red card, Chelsea held on for the win, securing a sixth-placed finish in the Premier League and moving closer to European football next season.

Moises Caicedo was named the player of the match for his performance in midfield, winning possession numerous times and making a strong impact on his return to Brighton.

Overall, it was a night of drama with big VAR calls, good football on display, and Chelsea coming out on top with their fourth straight victory.
