He says, âI love books. I love the idea of books. I love the tactile nature of books. When Iâm old and canât write anymore, Iâll buy a little bookshop and just sit in it all day, reading. Thatâs what I want to do.â
For now, though, Sanderson is focused on finishing the Stormlight Archive and his other projects. As we wrap up our conversation, he reflects on his journey as a writer, saying, âIâm very happy with where I am. Iâm very grateful to my fans. Iâm grateful for the opportunities that Iâve had. I feel like I have one of the best jobs in the world.â
And with that, Brandon Sanderson heads back to his writing desk, ready to continue crafting epic stories that will captivate readers around the world.
