The FIA clarified that there was no accusation or evidence of seeking or obtaining any undue advantage as a result of the breaches. Both manufacturers cooperated and acted in good faith throughout the review process. Honda will exclusively supply Aston Martin with engines starting in 2026, while Alpine will leave the sport as an engine manufacturer from 2026. Mercedes is expected to supply engines to the Alpine team from 2026.
