Speaking to Sky Sports F1, Ricciardo said, “I haven’t spoken to Max about it, but I think Max won’t have taken the message too well. He’s a competitor, you know, he’s a fierce competitor, and I think he’ll be obviously quite upset about the weekend.”
“I think Max is probably still quite pissed about it, to be honest,” Ricciardo added. “But that’s racing, you know, that’s how it goes. Lando did a great job and you’ve got to give credit where credit’s due.”
It remains to be seen how Verstappen will respond to Norris’ use of his catchphrase, but the rivalry between the two young drivers is certainly heating up as the Formula 1 season progresses.
